GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Sergeants/Department head, dispatchers are a point of contact via phone, radio, and person, providing assistance and/or direction to those needing help or information. Disseminates information between Tribal Enforcement and other agencies (Sheriff, CHP, and Fire Dept.) during a crisis. The Barona Tribal Enforcement Unit provides patrol services to all Tribal lands except for the Casino, Golf Course, and Casino Parking Lots.

Surveillance System Technician

Assures a high standard of integrity and honesty in all gaming operations and related support services.

At the direction of the Surveillance Network Administrator, responds to, troubleshoots and provides resolution to New Ticket Alerts from the Surveillance Help Desk in a timely manner.

Capable of wiping, repairing and troubleshooting hard drives.
-
Collaborates on projects with other Gaming Commission staff, Integrators, Vendors and Casino Key personnel, as needed, under the direction of the Surveillance Network Administrator.

Performs additional tasks as directed by the Assistant Director/Director of Surveillance.

As needed, performs daily inspection of all Surveillance Network to ensure it is operational.

Maintains familiarity with Surveillance equipment part numbers and descriptions and be able to analyze part and equipment needs for surveillance related projects or upgrades.

Maintains familiarity with current Gaming Commission policies and procedures.

Ability to assist in the installation and maintenance of cameras and cable runs throughout the property.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues.

Capable of terminating all fiber optic, coaxial, CAT6 and other cabling.

Maintain network performance by building, configuring, and maintaining connections as well as troubleshooting network problems.
