Gaming Commission

Another branch of the tribal government is the Barona Gaming Commission. It is comprised of appointed tribal members who cannot be employed by the tribe or the casino in any other aspect. The Gaming Commission is responsible for regulating casino activities as mandated by the 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Tribe's Gaming Ordinance, and the Tribal/State compact, including employee and vendor licensing.
