About the Barona Kids' Clubs
The “Barona Kids” is a program dedicated to developing young members into positive and capable teenagers. “Barona Kids” is designed to offer participants a sense of belonging and pride in an extracurricular setting.
The program consists of: Community service projects, educational activities, guest speakers/presenters, and field trips.
“Barona Kids” is designed primarily for Barona Tribal children and residents of the reservation but those children may invite one friend per meeting. The program is open for children aged 6-12. All members must be registered with the Barona Recreation Department. Meetings are held about twice a month on Friday afternoons at 3:00 pm. All meetings will be held at the recreation center, unless otherwise stated.
To benefit the most from the program, kids must attend meetings consistently, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and experience new things. Kids who do not meet these requirements will not be allowed to go on fun field trips.

We went to the Barona Children’s Park for a water fight, pizza and ice cream. 
We went to the Barona Fire Station and washed a truck and had fun playing with the fire fighters and Sparky the Dog. Afterwards we went to the Yogurt Barn in Lakeside for some frozen treats.
